Describe the way your favorite song makes your feel
It’s funny, from the very first note, my favorite song has this way of just stopping me in my tracks. It doesn’t just feel like I'm listening to it. it feels like it’s washing over me. There’s a deep sense of nostalgia, but it’s not sad; it’s more like visiting an old friend. For those three or four minutes, everything else just fades into the background. It’s a mix of feeling completely understood and also wonderfully hopeful. It’s my little pocket of peace, no matter what’s going on around me.
