I am currently pursuing biomedical engineering and chemistry in school, and I have a unique interest in how AI can assist in the evolution of health sciences. I am from a very traditional and strictly religious family that encouraged me to go down a more traditional path of being a mother and wife rather than going to school. Not only is school and expanding my knowledge enjoyable for me, but I've made an effort in my extracurriculars to support others unsure of if they should continue their educational journey. To me, it is important that young women have the resources to be educated about these careers and options they have, as well as knowing that important familial roles can not also be achieved hand-in-hand with career goals.
