describe a time you successfully organized or promoted a local event.
While I haven't independently organized a large event, I volunteered with a local environmental organization at several community events. My role involved setting up the booth, talking with attendees about the organization's mission, answering questions, and helping sell merchandise to support its programs. It taught me how to engage people, communicate a message in a friendly way, and encourage participation from members of the community. Seeing people become interested in the cause through our conversations showed me the value of grassroots outreach and community engagement.

how would you engage your local community to support a wellness brand?
I’d promote the brand through the communities I’m already involved in. During the school year, I’m active in a sorority, dance club, and UCLA Rocket Project, so I’d share the product with friends and create authentic content around busy student life. In the summer, I’m always active around San Diego and Coronado—going to the beach, working out, walking, and spending time outdoors—so I’d naturally incorporate the brand into those experiences and share it with other active people in my community.
