When do students typically head home for the summer?
Students at the University of Central Florida typically head home right after finals week in late April or early May, depending on the academic calendar. I would plan flyer distribution around this by prioritizing the weeks leading up to finals, when campus is still full and foot traffic is high. I would also adjust placement timing to hit peak visibility before students leave, ensuring your flyers reach the largest audience possible while they are still on campus and actively engaged.

Where would you hang flyers on campus?
UCF has a huge campus, so I will focus on high engagement areas like the Student Union, major classroom buildings, and approved dorm boards where students naturally stop and look around. I would cluster placements so students see the same flyer multiple times throughout their day, increasing recognition and response. I would treat flyer distribution like a marketing strategy so you are not just getting exposure, you are getting real results.

What experience do you have partnering with student organizations or managing events?
I have experience partnering with student organizations and managing events through my role as Vice President of my sorority, where I regularly help coordinate chapter activities, collaborate with different committees, and support large-scale events. I work closely with our executive board and social chair to plan events, organize logistics, and make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This includes coordinating with other student organizations for joint events, managing communication across members, and ensuring strong turnout and engagement. I also help guide initiatives that involve branding and social media, which allows me to think strategically about how to promote events and create content around them. Through this experience, I’ve developed strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills that translate well into partnerships and event execution.
