Cheqmate is the app for people who love to go out, lighting up the real-time buzz in your city.
In this GIG you will help spread the word about Cheqmate's Competition on the NYU campus through engaging social and in-person efforts.
Competition starts in two weeks. We will have 10 winners, all winners will get Amazon gift cards (ranging from $2,000 to $250). Top 10 users with the most likes win! First, refer people to Cheqmate to get likes on our leaderboard. Next, split, cheq-in or review places in your city and the likes you get on those posts add to your total!
More details will be shared. For now, we need ambassadors who are looking to work with the next big NYC event!
You will be responsible for driving awareness by sharing the app, encouraging campus participation, and supporting a fun social competition among students.
Expected Outputs
Your key tasks include:
- Promote Cheqmate by engaging fellow students on campus and social media.
- Organize and support events or activities that highlight the app’s live nightlife map.
- Collect feedback and insights from users to help improve app reach and engagement.
About Cheqmate
Cheqmate is the app for people who love to go out. It's a live, anonymized map of where your city is actually going. The bars, restaurants, and spots lighting up right now. Everywhere users cheq-in, split, review, and save quietly powers the map, so you always know where the night's really happening. For friends? You see the specific details of what they're sharing. Everyone else just adds to the heat map — anonymously.
