DebateTV is a live 1v1 debate app. Two people argue any take out loud, and an AI judge calls the winner.

In this GIG you will launch DebateTV at your school. Step one takes 30 seconds: open debatetv.app/school on your phone and sign in with your school Google account. That opens DebateTV for your whole campus.

You will be responsible for the unlock, getting your friends into their first debates, and telling us honestly what students at your school think of the app.

What the unlock does. Signing in at debatetv.app/school gives Better Apps, the company behind DebateTV and Wizzmo, read-only access to your school's Google directory: names, school emails, and the department or title listed with them. At many schools that includes staff and alumni. We save a copy of that list. We use it to email people at your school an invite to our apps, with an unsubscribe, and students who have unlocked can look up anyone in it inside DebateTV and get their email to send a challenge. Nothing is sent from your account. It stays connected until you remove DebateTV in your Google account settings, and removing it stops new reads but does not delete the copy we already saved. Some schools don't allow outside apps on a school account, so check yours if you're unsure.
