# Home From College (H\FC)

> The AI-powered growth platform bringing brands and Gen Z together. College students find paid GIGs and microGIGs from brands; brands run campus, content and ambassador programs at scale, with contracts, time tracking and payments handled on the platform.

Two audiences use H\FC for different things. Students get real-world experience while getting paid. Brands grow faster and smarter by working with students directly instead of through an agency.

## How the work is structured

- **GIG** — a paid engagement between a brand and a student: content creation, brand ambassador work, campus activations, one-time projects or ongoing monthly programs.
- **microGIG** — a smaller, faster paid task.
- GIG participants are independent contractors of the brand, not employees of the brand or of H\FC. Payments run through the platform via Stripe, and H\FC issues IRS Form 1099s to qualifying participants.
